Dogstar is a pre-through-post adoption counseling service, with a live human voice available to adopters and the organizations that serve them, for the lifetime of an animal.
We exist at the intersection of people, animals, and rescue organizations — guided by animal behaviorists and humane educators, and built on a simple belief: that the right support at the right moment can change the outcome for everyone in the room.
Our dream is simple: to become changed, and infinitely more human, by living life in harmony with your animal by your side.

Shelters do the hard, holy work of rescue. Dogstar exists to carry what comes next. We bridge the gap between shelter & rescue organizations and the adopters who need guidance — so more animals stay in their homes, and that weight on everyone’s shoulders gets a little lighter.
